Map application 2 - a comparison of satellite scenes from different time periods

The web map application enables user-controlled comparison of satellite scenes from different time periods. The user is allowed to select years for identification of forest and land cover changes. This web map application was developed within the framework of the project EPOL II (The research of effective use of environmental, economic and social potential of forests in Slovakia II) implemented by NFC in cooperation with Forests of Slovak republic, state enterprise. For correct initialization of the application it is necessary to use the newer versions of internet browsers (we recommend Firefox or Chrome/Chromium).

Map application 3 - dynamic visualization of actual and historical satellite scenes


This web map application enables dynamic visualization of time series of satellite scenes. It is possible to obtain good visual identification of ongoing changes using slider at the bottom part of application. Application can accessed by web browser at:

Map application 4 - dynamic visualization of forest health state classifications


Yet another web map application developed within project "CEGIS - Centre of excellence for decision support making in forest and landscape" enables dynamic visualization of time series of forest health state classifications.
